Happy Friday. and almost end of July already! Just a quick note for now... I wanted to let you know that Dan is taking me along on his trip to Kambia next week -- a Northern Province on the border with Guinea. He's going with the CRS Peacebuilding Program Coordinator to evaluate the progress of the conflict early warning project -- through community volunteers who monitor and report possible conflicts before they flare up. I get to come along and help -- and I'll finally get to see a rural community in action. I'm pretty excited about the chance to travel outside of Freetown and see another small slice of Sierra Leone. Hopefully I'll have pictures up on the next post.

Speaking of which, we put together a pretty cool Sierra Leone slideshow -- I have to see how to upload it and link it to the blog so you can take a look at some of our better pictures... I promise to work on that when we get back to town, its just difficult to bring my laptop into an internet cafe, so I'll have to come up with another way to do it...
